It's skyway theft, Airport parking charges soar

FAMILIES occurring holiday face crippling airport car parking charges-as some grasping bosses DOUBLE their already sky-high prices. Twenty of the nation's 23 predominant airports have shamelessly hiked short-stay parking costs previously 12 months, our investigation revealed.  The fee for eight days at Aberdeen to cover per week-lengthy Easter or summer break has risen 104 per cent, from £63.90 to £130.40. And Exeter has upped the price by 70 per cent, from £68.80 to £117.50.

At Gatwick-Britain's second busiest airport-the cost has soared from £172 to £240, up 40 per cent. Fifteen airports have also upped costs for long-stay, the analysis for the News of the World by journey supermarket.com shows. Manchester has raised the cost of eight days from £70.50 to £one hundred-up 42 per cent, whereas Gatwick has gone up 25 per cent, from £73.60 to £92.
